Peachy Afternoons

Hey guys!
A week of holidays is great! A week of holidays, alone in your room doing homework for the two schools you've got - is NOT great at all! Without the right motivation or help it can get pretty tiring and thats what happened.  Luckily, or not, this year is my last year of my Russian school and penultimate year of my International school which means First year of IB program. If your doing it - god bless you; if you've heard of it - you might've heard how hard it is, but no you have no idea how hard and time-consuming it is! How teachers are literally evil and set all homework to the closest date, when you have no time to do anything, or to 50 years later, so that you forget about it and do everything on the night before! Oh, they also love setting all the subjects on the same day - as well as all the tests! Over this week of "holidays" i have test preparation, 2 essays, TOK 5 min video presentation, CAS video editing, read a book, questions of the book + i need to read, understand and learn the 2 years course for all the subjects in my Russian school and prepare myself for the exams that will happen in the same time as my IB exams in my International School! Isn't that wonderful? Sorry guys, i needed to spill this out, because every time I'm studying, i get so mad.. but hey! This post is not about the darkest moments of my holidays! A friend of mine, which i haven't seen in like 2 years, invited me for lunch and some catching up / gossip time, which brightened up my week!
I am a person, that plans every single move ahead. When traveling, as i said on my posts about Porto trip, i make sure i know what to do every day, what things to visit, what restaurants to go to but this time it was different! We decided the place literally 5 minutes before leaving house, that was annoying me for some time but when i let it go, let go of my own self and it worked! We got together, and for the rest of the day we did not shut up! literally! Talking about so many things, all though our lives don't really connect, we still had some things to laugh about and it was a very nice getaway from papers, books and calculations!
For the sunny day in the centre of the city, wondering around streets i used to visit literally every day, i wore my comfy uggs obviously, grey jeans from H&M, Zara sweater with cut out sides and a halter top underneath to keep me warm hihi
Im not very an accessory person, since the only thing i carry is my phone and folded 20euros in my pocket. I don't like necklaces (not in casual day to day life) since you have to make sure they don't move or i anything so i don't usually wear them but i guess that day, the sun was shining in a different way so i decided to take my Furla bag for the camera, my phone and those folded 20 euros. I actually  noticed it made me feel different as if the bag gave me more feminine look and less boyish and "teenager like" - maybe it was the style of it:) + the necklace from Lefties i think, bought it ages ago! And the look was done and i felt the happiest and the prettiest! :) Oh, Happy day!

P.S. friendly reminder, you should ALL participate in the Giveaway of the Silver Clutch
Hurry up its NOT gonna last forever!
Enjoy the photos of that day, the tasty burger and the "wanna be LA" streets of Cascais and my peachy grey outfit!

Valentine's Reds

Good afternoon lovelies,
So there they go 24 hours of love and today is 15th of February - just a regular Sunday!
Yesterday was an amazing day! Now, planning on what to write i realized it was VERY movie-like Valentines day but we didn't even plan it to be like that! At 6 p.m. we went to watch 50 shades of grey movie, which we already knew wasn't going to be a pleasant and satisfying thing to watch, but having bad movies in the collection is good too, plus there would be something to discuss while waiting for food... At 8 we had reservation in the restaurant but movie lasted longer than we expected and we only finished at 9!
As the exit doors opened and we ran outside we were splashed with he pouring rain and the only thing that was missing is a music in the background while we cuddled and tried to find a way out. guess what happens next? What would happen in the movie? Yes, Taxi ride! So we run to the taxi and  few minutes through shiny roads and yellow lights we got to the romantic ambient of my favorite place - Farol Design Hotel in Cascais!
The dinner was already planned by the organizers, and the menu was set up with pre-dinner cocktail, which we missed unfortunately but still got it as we sat on the table!
For the romantic Valentines day dinner i decided to go with the red, as when in doubt - wear red (or black) some people would say - so i chose those two colors! Textured, stripy back red top from Zara made me fall in love with it the first time i saw it; simple black trousers and boots and i was ready to go! Oh! forgot something!
My dear BSimple sent me another beautiful silver clutch which by the way MIGHT BE YOURS!
This little beauty can fit ANYTHING in it! My silver sparkly wallet from H&M,  my phone with same-style case from Primark and few make up touches a self respecting girl should always have in her purse:) And guess what? It still had some free space for M's wallet & M's Motorcycle keys!

Well hope you enjoy the photos from my romantic night and stay tuned for the GIVEAWAY of the amazing all-event-type clutch from dear BSimple! Give them a like for me :)

There was a fortune teller can you believe it? and she said some stuff that made us both believe in these type of things.. since we both are pretty sceptic! but it was all positive! :) Great experience!

This is my way to use this cute clutch for a classy event or maybe even day time event! With the GIVEAWAY POST! (which you CAN NOT miss!) ill show you how id style it to go out :)

14th day of the Second month..

HELLO HELLO!
To all the single ladies out there! To all the ready-to-mingle-and-pringle! To all the proud and independent ladies who don't need a man! To all the single man out there as well tho.. this post will be NOT one of the cliche posts you see all over "What to give to your man?" "What do women want this Valentines?" blahblahblah all the pink and ribbony things will NOT appear in this post! In stead of satisfying a tiny percentage of couples who i think, should think of the present based on how much they know their partner and not google, Im going to give you ideas on how to appreciate being single on 14th of February and say no to the mainstream 'Dead love bonfires' of burning the toys and clothes you had received from your failed lovers a la Friends Episode, or overdose of cheap chocolate while watching those cliche 'Notebook" and other Nicolas Sparks movies the typical white girl things to do on the 14th day of the Second month of the year..
As you may know from my previous post, i was sick this entire last week, and nope, i didn't get to go to my school's International Dinner, which made me pretty sad and as im one typical example of a white girl - Beyonce, Coldplay and Maroon 5 play list was on repeat that night. Throughout the night of endless scrolling through my feeds, i found thousands of posts and pictures, joking about the single people doing nothing on Valentines day, so thats what inspired me to think about things Id do if i was single on the day when streets fill in with walking hands-holding couples and flower-selling man running around!
Hope you enjoy this, and tomorrow, comment how you spent your day! Cos after few days, ill show you what i did and what i wore:) hehe To stay more tuned and updated by minutes , follow me in Instagram (@manyashaa) and Twitter (@manyashaaaa)  :)
Well, lets get to it:
1. As on this day people show their love, i think it would be nice to show how much you love yourself! Exercise, go for a walk with just updated playlist or visit beauty salon, massage or manicure will make you feel so much better! Who knows, maybe so beautiful and fresh you might meet your destiny on your way home - you never know :) If staying home - order sushi - sushi are fancy :) If movies - choose fashion movies, or comedy movies! Or something very scientific - its been my obsession lately - movies like Interstellar and theory of everything made me very into science and all the smart things - basically the things i can't do haha
2. Some might be falling in love with people this day, but you will fall in love with new things you're about to do! Trying new things are the way to get you r mind away from the casual routine and step out of your comfort zone, which actually doesn't have to happen! You can try yoga or ballet lessons, go to cinema with girls (50 shades of grey trailers and short releases got me pumped and i can't wait to see it :); if you'd rather stay home try cooking new things, desserts or international cuisine! Maybe one day you'll surprise your loved one with the variety of things you could do (thats my aim tho.. but for now all i can do is my chocolate cake - which is pretty useful in any situation :P )
This day i dare yo to challenge yourself to try something you havens done before!
3. Participate in a Secret Valentines! Which is  basically secret santa but on Valentines day! This is what Im doing with my girls now! Only few of us have boyfriends so for the rest we decided that this day - nobody is staying without a present! Plus its a reason to get all together in a cozy place, restaurant or someones house and joke on the sexy underwear you gave to each other which only your bed with share with you hahah!
4. Valentines day expectations are usually very exaggerated... I mean its a normal Saturday, if it was another holiday like Easter, i wouldn't even be writing this post. My point being, we don't need to overthink these type of things. Let happy couple enjoy their company even more on this day and we can enjoy the company of our friends, having just as much fun as if it was any other day of the year! Throwing a little party or get-together would sound nice! Even if it means just lame movies and pop corn, or cupcake making and hot chocolate while spilling our soul out, sitting by the fireplace!
In the end, id like to say that, obviosuly if you like to stay single, keep up with the good job your doing now, but if your seeking for your prince on a white horse, maybe going to new places, doing more things will increase the amount of different people you meet every day and maybe on of them will appear to be the one! So trying new things as i said would be th great opportunity! If you're not feeling comfy with yourself, a small make over will make you feel fresh! Shopping for different style of clothes, different make up details with create a whole new look for you! And with new look comes confidence! Confidence is the key :)

Well, there you go, my thoughts on how you can spend Valentines day :)
Hope you liked it!

Speaking from the taken and madly in love side of me, im super excited for tomorrow! The plans we've made are about to come true! Theres gotta be something in the nature of the Valentines day that would make a normal dinner out more romantic and a normal cinema visit cutter!
All though som things won't change this day - I will still carry my camera with me everywhere we go to capture everything as im the biggest memories collector ever and he will still be my photographer and shoot me whenever i want so i can share the happy moments with you! :)
Stay tuned and don't forget to follow me on the links above! Ill be posting a lot hihi

#Exposed

Hello people out there!
Since saturday night, after my day out with M i got home feeling ill.. and since then I've been tied to my pillow and blankets, 2 rolls of toilet paper and water. i could never think that being ill could make me so weak and unable to do literally anything, not even movies... #killme
So yeah, this is basically the reason why i didn't post this update for you guys of my Saturday date with M! As an Art student, i love broadening my horizons - visiting galleries, seeing art works of famous artists & studying their ways and techniques and when i get opportunity to go to a gallery or visit some exhibitions i do! This time it wasn't quite technique-admiring visit, but diversity is the key to make your work rich and catchy to many audiences! Since 14th of November, the exhibition of Photography by Bryan Adams "Exposed" had been open in the centre of cascais. Every weekend, or every art lesson Id remember about it and say that id go on the weekend but there it was 31st of January, 1 day before it closed when M had to drag me out of my house so Id actually see it before it closed! 3 floors of photos. Different people, different themes and messages, different stories behind the glass frame and black and white filter, which made them all have something in common. After quick run through the floors, as we had to come there 20 minutes before it closed, we decided to satisfy our little whales in our tummies, and drove to Casa da Guia, where I heard a restaurant, with best crepes, opened few month or maybe even day ago - called Bistro na Guia! The rumours were true - those pancakes with strawberries and maple syrup were heavenly good!! To sure those sweet moments with my man, who by the way owns all the credits for taking pictures of me, i wore: Zara shirt with spikes, Pull and Bear Jeggings, Uggs and to make it less greyish, I decided to add more colour with bright orange ear cuff from Forever 21 :)
Well now, i gotta go take one more kilo of medicines to be up on my heels, this friday for my school International Dinner woop woop #letshope
